But rather than spend time working on a spiritual practice we are caught in a loop of TV and digital content. Meditation allows us to stay grounded in our body here and now, and allow the thoughts and emotions to pass by like clouds in the sky. What do you like about yourself? Are you constantly stressed? When we are anxious, the breath is usually fast and short. A good meditation technique that can help you slow down is consciously counting your breath. The way to start is by slowing down the breath.
